2024 Year In Review
Happy New Year’s Eve! As I sit enjoying a cup of tea I’m amazed at all that has come to pass this year for The Little Green Witch. Incredible partnerships were forged, opportunities presented, I tried something new near monthly, and there was so, so much laughter. We had the best ‘business’ year we’ve ever had. I was actually able to pay myself! (If you’re a small business owner you know how exciting that milestone is!) And in the midst of our growth I was able to hold onto the foundation of this endeavor - we’re a family run business still in the business of running a family. You all have been so supportive of my weird hours so I can be in the carpool lane, my last minute closures because someone made it to Cross Country regionals, and the extra time it takes me to create a custom blend because I’m a one-woman operation. I wouldn’t be able to do this important work if not for your support. I’m so grateful to you all.
This year saw me complete the largest commission I’ve ever received (to be honest there was a moment there when I wasn’t sure I could pull it off, ha!) I was able to create custom blends for not one but two weddings. Our blends were gifted at baby showers, bridal showers, PTA appreciation night, and birthdays. I created seven new tea blends, four new body care products, figured out a new feature on my website (score), and taught more than twenty workshops. I put three coats of paint onto the walls of our new location and was witness to the creation of an incredible mural on the walls of The Healing Arts Center. I saw the inspiring power of plant medicine positively impact the health of dozens of people around me. I was able to bring a little comfort and peace to the table; an honor that never fails to humble me.
As we get ready to embrace 2025 I want to express as sincerely and honestly as I can how grateful I am to do this work. The plants are amazing guides and I’m so excited to see what they teach us this next year. Blessings to you all!
